I struggled with Actors Access for years, not knowing how to use it or how to get seen. There was no ah-ha! moment for me. I spent months and hundreds of dollars at seminars and classes to learn everything I know about Actors Access.
But now, I get multiple auditions and selftapes a week. Sometimes up to 12 in a weekend! So many more opportunities to show my work to lots of different casting directors.
Wouldn’t it be nice to understand Actors Access so that you can use it like a casting director? Thus, getting more auditions and selftapes, because you’re giving the casting directors the materials they want!
These are the 3 things it came down to in my studies:
1.) Understand the algorithm and submit via it’s rules.
2.) Understand what casting directors need/want to see in your submission.
3.) Have a stellar profile full of materials that tell casting directors what they need to know about you.
It’s simple, really: Algorithm, Casting, Profile.
