This week has been a doozy, people. I had over 12 selftapes due in a week, 8 of those due between 2 days, and 2 shoot days for a short. I thought, There’s no way I’m going to have enough time to write an article this week. I was wrong! Because I got the idea from Melissa Cassera to write a fun little article on past articles that really worked. Or at least got the most clicks.

These are the articles that touched the most screens.
1.) What’s in that audition bag?!
This one is an oldie but a goody. One of the first articles Bell Blogging ever published, this is the number 1 article to be clicked. If you’re in need of a list of things to bring to your audition so that you never get into a self-inflicted bind, this is the article for you. (And apparently over 1,000 others!! Wow! Y’all are the best!)
2.) How to stay performance/audition ready.
Also an old article from our beginning days, this article is the one to read when you really need a kick in the butt to get going and do a bunch of practice on a project, or 12. I find myself coming back to this article when I lapse in my daily practices and need a little reminder, like, Hey, remember when you said this? Yeah, well live it! Don’t be a hypocrite! This is the article to teach you how to do your best work with the time you have.
3.) 8 websites every actor needs to use!
Now this is a real winner in my book. I still use all these websites and will for years to come! If you want resources that you can pull up quickly and easily to help you with all your actor needs, this is the article for you.
4.) How early should I show up to my audition?
Always a good question to ask. This one is pretty straight forward: if you’d like to know how early you should show up to your audition for safety-, preparation-, and logistics-reasons, read this article!
5.) 9 Actors Access tips that’ll get you more work!
Last, but certainly not least, this is my baby of an article. I’ve gone to countless seminars, meetings, and classes on this subject, and I’d venture to say that I know more about Actors Access than I do about acting. Well, not really, but you get my point. I know a lot about AA and I wanted to share every single thing I could think of to make sure that you get treated right by Actors Access. Get more jobs!
Happy surfing, my dudes.
